We designed a web calculator that feels more like a luxury automotive configurator than a financial tool. The premium dark theme with red accent colors mirrors LEGEND's brand identity, while custom Druk and Gotham typography gives the interface a high-end editorial quality. The single-input design was a deliberate choice — enter the vehicle value, and the calculator immediately projects year-by-year depreciation both with and without LEGEND Kit protection.
The underlying calculation engine models standard vehicle depreciation curves and applies a 5% uplift factor for LEGEND Kit-treated vehicles across a 3-year projection window. While the Excel version simply showed raw numbers in cells, the web version presents the comparison as a visual story: two depreciation trajectories diverging over time, with the cumulative savings highlighted prominently. This visual approach makes the value proposition immediately obvious in a way that rows and columns never could.
The tool was built to work flawlessly on tablets for showroom use, where sales representatives walk customers through the projection during the purchase conversation.
